Do you ever feel like the way you present yourself to others does not match how you feel? Or do you feel lonely and that others do not understand? Do you want to make a change, but don't know where or how to start? Counseling may be helpful.
In my experience, I have learned that our body is a great resource as a record of our past and an agent for change. I have also learned that we have a lot of automatic physiological responses to circumstances, which contribute to unwanted feelings and thoughts. I believe that we can grow and create new neural pathways to change at any age. There are tangible strategies that we can use to help us live in an intentional manner.
Reaching out for help can be difficult in many ways. I try to meet my clients where they are and create a space for them to share their story at a pace they are comfortable with. My focus is to provide support to help my clients achieve success in obtaining their counseling goals.
